Avopug Show attempts to break free from the conventions of typical arcade racing games, offering a refreshing and innovative experience that challenges players in unexpected ways. Developed by solo indie game maker “Marakesch,” this game is a testament to creativity and dedication. This game is the result of five years of development, poured with the efforts, labor, and soul of one person. It’s not perfect, much like this world, but it strives to be better and bring a bit of joy into it.
Immersive Graphics and Unique Environments
The game introduces a novel concept where players navigate through tracks that constantly reveal themselves, adding an element of uncertainty and excitement to each race. With tracks spanning diverse environments, from the clouds to outer space and even vintage cartoons, Avopug Show keeps the experience fresh and engaging. You will collect a few different kinds of power ups, including a shield and speed ups. Watch out for obstacles as you do have a health limit you need to keep an eye on. One of the highlights of Avopug Show is its striking graphics, which contribute to the immersive experience. After Us
The attention to detail in the environments and track designs is commendable, adding to the game’s overall appeal. I also really enjoyed the soundtrack, which has a good selection of different songs, all decent and enjoyable. However, Avopug Show isn’t without its flaws. Some players may find the initial vehicle controls challenging to master, although with perseverance, it becomes more manageable. Additionally, the field of view used in the game may trigger motion sickness in some players, limiting their playtime. I suffer with motion sickness with some games, going back to the days of Mario Kart on the SNES.
Navigating Sky-High Tracks with Avopug Show
The level design feels like something from F-Zero with tracks and roads being in the sky or in space then with the cartoon feel of Cuphead as well thrown into the mix. The Pug as a guide every so often popping up to let you know when you’ve got enough crystals/purple gems to finish the level and also giving driving tips. With impressive draw distance and frame rate doesn’t which is a key thing in my opinion for a racer however, one thing to keep in mind the handling isn’t the best, the car handles like a FWD and you have to keep an eye on the front wheels as to where you car will turn and also when to take the turn. Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration
Slowing down early may help when picking up those crystals and not hitting any objects on the road. Use your shields wisely and also time your landings on the jumps, you don’t have to collect all the crystals on the track just enough required then you can race for the finish, so if some of the crystals are more difficult to collect to stay on track then leave them. Trying to stay on the track and not hit any objects within the time limit is the aim of the game here, just have fun for what the game is and don’t need to take it too seriously.

This game is pretty fun, especially if you like platform racing games that have an arcadey edge feel to it, you could happily sink hours into this game just to pass the time and have fun. the different levels are a good touch and the music changes depending on the level that you will be in like the old school 1930’s-40’s slow type of music when passing through the black and white level, and the blood pumping sci-fi music when passing through another. HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
