you’ll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of different toppings that will grant you special abilities. For example, selecting pepperoni will give you a grenade, allowing you to deal splash damage. Or, if you’re feeling saucy, you can choose blue cheese to create a pungent perimeter around your pizza, damaging any foes that come too close. Money is spent for permanent upgrades.
a swarm survivor, meaning that you’ll need to use all of your skills and strategies to take down waves of relentless enemies.
With randomly generated levels and power-ups, no two playthroughs are ever the same. To help you in your quest, the game features an auto-rotate feature that allows you to easily switch between targeting groups without having to manually rotate. Earn permanent upgrade points by defeating foes and collecting dropped coins, completing unique achievements and renewed daily challenges. Permanent upgrades improve traditional stats in moderate amounts with inflating prices. Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery
as expected of the genre, making subsequent runs easier. Unevenly described upgrade effects are often ambiguous, sometimes with stats, sometimes not, on random level up cards, starter toppings, and side snacks or drinks earned from occasional vending machines. Everything can be learned over time but in the end the combinations don’t really matter that much since the game leans on the easy side, especially after a few key upgrades for increased health and damage.
So if you’re ready to rise to the challenge and defend the world from the forces of evil, play Pizza Hero now!
New worlds are unlocked by surviving long enough to complete a given challenge and open up a portal that effectively ends the run. They bring new visuals, enemies and pets, for an interesting level of variety. Endless mode is entirely worthy of its name. Sessions last much longer with 5 revives instead of a single one in normal mode, but once toppings are maxed out, enemies stop to level up and the pizza slice becomes effectively invincible. It can be left motionless at the center of the screen without touching anything. Vampire Survivors
will survive indefinitely, if you only avoid the few projectiles. Enemy placement often feels a bit too random on the busy screen and lacks an appealing or coherent choreography. The art style makes it sometimes difficult to distinguish enemies and attacks from own powers or pet-flung coins. With irregularly stretched pixels and inconsistently sized sprites, it looks more low rez than proper old school retro. Why are enemies beasts and bugs and not other food types?
Pizza Hero is a really entertaining Swarm Survivor/Bullet-heaven with some interesting ideas and cool concepts.
There are Meta upgrades, the usual Attk, Crit, Def, etc., and quite a few unlocks too. Mostly the hook for me revolves in trying to make specific recipes (similar to a weapon overpower/overclock/ultra/synergy depending on the game) like a Hawaiian or Frozen Vegan, and looking for puppies to rescue in order to get more toppings and ultimately more recipes. Overall this game has great controls and mechanics, a fun in-game upgrade system along with the somewhat standard meta ones, and is a challenging blast to play. Geometry Survivor
Pizza Hero is a great auto-shooter. Good music, quirky design that fits the pizza theme. Enemy waves are good. Pets pickup cash. Dash to dodge projectiles. Familiar weapons. Kill monsters and upgrade your pizza slice by adding new ingredients. Nice visuals and music, a lot of different pet helpers to unlock, many different enemies, and several maps. Fun game to mess around with when you have just 10 mins or so to waste. My main gripe is the cost of the Greed upgrades.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
