The game delivers an enjoyable and fun “tavern-running” experience, especially in multiplayer. Here are some of my thoughts so far: It’s a very addicting grind, though it is definitely a grind. The foundation for a great game is here, but at present it feels like a borderline asset flip due to the emptiness of the world and relatively small playable area. There’s definitely a lot to keep you busy.

The quest do however ring pretty hollow when they all essentially follow the same structure of “Find NPC>help NPC>Cook for NPC” with almost zero reward for doing so other than an achievement. you also have many other fun activities such as hunting, fishing, planting, deliveries and missions. The gameplay is very fluid, good soundtrack and very colorful graphics. During the night enemies such as skeletons, giant spiders, etc… can invade your tavern and you will need to kill them. The game can be played solo or in cooperative mode with up to 4 people, however I’m playing solo and so far I’ve found it a little complicated to manage all the tasks alone. Tavern Talk

I don’t know if it will free up any helpers, but if it doesn’t I’ll be broke hahaha a lot for one person. thats when it gets hectic in the good way appliances start breaking and people need food have to keep up with the orders and the cleanness of your tavern while growing items to make even more recipes. i will say in the future love to see more barrels holder areas and possible another staging area for food and beverages. also maybe a double fermenter if the other things get added would help alot

This game has done some really cute smart ways to streamline most of the serving process – it’s still a challenge but it’s hectic fun. It’s funny, cartoonish, simple fun. It reminded me a little of the feeling of playing raft. If you’re someone who just wants to run you’re little tavern with all the chill vibes and take your time you can do that.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.

2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
