and—most importantly of all—a variety of hats to unlock. Each level has golden bones to find, and these are used as currency in the hat shops. The hats don’t grant any special abilities, unless you count the ability to make your freakish pup faces look even cuter. Levels are split across three worlds based on phoggy concepts; food, play, and sleep. Each world contains six platform-puzzletastic stages, and, well… not a boss fight, but a boss experience. When playing solo—and I’m going to assume use of a gamepad, which is definitely the best way to play—each phog is controlled individually.
One Phog, Two Phog, Red Phog, Blue Phog
Your faithful companions. Red and Blue are the goodest of doggos who will accompany you through your entire fun-filled adventure. Double-ended doggos. Can’t cross that gap? No problem, bite onto these conveniently placed pegs, and swing from one to the other until you’re over the other side. Need to water that plant? Get one phog to bite onto the nearby water pipe, and let the other one vomit the water out where you need it. Best not dwell on the mechanics of that one. Puzzles get more complex and interesting than that. Some activities aren’t even really puzzles at all, though—and these are some of the best moments in the game. The Play area is easily the highlight of PHOGS!.

and a hell of a lot of tube-based manoeuvring. They have no hands, but they can bite things, which means putting levers in their mouths (not recommended) and pulling, or carrying an object through a level. Some objects have the added ability of being transmitted through the phoggo body: biting a fan will make wind come out of the opposite mouth, biting a water outlet makes water come out the other end, and biting a light will, for some reason, turn the other phoggo head into a torch. The puzzles range from simple to hard, but in the way a puzzle game should: the difficulty comes not from having zero idea of what you’re supposed to do, but from actually trying to achieve it. The range of puzzles is fantastic, too, with the kind of creativity in mechanics and aesthetics that make every moment a wonderful surprise. The levels have been sectioned off into the three constituent parts of a phoggo’s life: Food, Play, and Sleep.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
