The adult point-and-click game Lilith’s Lair has several endings that are all centered around a certain fetish. You play really fun minigames that again experiment with different facets of a particular kink, depending on the decisions you make. The way the game introduces and plays with the kinks is incredibly amusing, fun, and occasionally downright hilarious, even though I don’t like every one of them. For my “morbid curiosity” (trust), I investigated every avenue, and each had its advantages. The game’s dialogue seems engaging and authentic. It facilitates the comedy and storytelling that permeate the entire experience.

Unique Gameplay and Storytelling.

The animations, artwork, and style are all really endearing. This creation is filled with love, and it is evident throughout. Burger Kurger did a fantastic job with this one. Naturally, there is a lovely gallery where you can rewatch specific sequences or play minigames. Even the sequences that depict fetishes that I don’t find interesting are beautifully developed and feature amazing acting. Similar to other point-and-click games, this one has artificial replayability until you’ve explored every route. (and perhaps every accomplishment?) This game is quite brief, which may raise some concerns at FULL PRICE. In spite of this, I had a great time playing this tiny game. I suggest supporting Burger Kurger by purchasing this game, especially while it’s on sale, if any of the kinks pique your interest, if you want to have a good time with some friends and stream it for them, or if you’re just morbidly intrigued to explore the stated fixations. Between yes and no, I wish there was some intermediate ground. Since the game was so inexpensive, I’m leaning yes overall, but I would find it difficult to suggest it to anyone who enjoys fewer than half of the fetishes in it if it were any more costly. On the one hand, each run is rather brief unless you’re terrible at the minigames, and the humor and artwork are pleasant. It’s one of those fetish-dump games, though, where you have to do everything in order to finish the game correctly.

Charming Artwork and Engaging Animations.

Since everything is dispersed, there isn’t even that much content for each specific obsession. There is only roughly five minutes of substance for each fetish, but I suppose the humor could make up for it. I only played the game for about five minutes because I only bought it to satisfy one obsession, but I made up some of that time by exploring the other paths and finding a few endings. Although there are a few little clues about what each path entails before you follow it, you are essentially going into it blindly in the hopes of receiving more of the things you enjoy and less of the things you dislike. A magical vampire jester lady appears to give you a minigame to play twice throughout a run, and if you win, she is impacted by one of the game’s fetishes. Philomel

This is just a stupid trick the game does to fill in time. The issue is that the minigames are merely simple copies of popular games with drastically different levels of difficulty. Yes, there is Mastermind, but there are also Connect 4, which is quite simple because the AI isn’t very good, and Hangman, which is almost a given because the winning word is so clear. I don’t know why it’s included, but Mastermind is much harder than the other minigames. It’s not even the easy version, which determines which specific options are correct; instead, it’s the standard “1 in correct spot, two in incorrect spots, 1 wrong” type, and I’m fairly certain it’s even bugged because I enjoy Mastermind and the game’s final solution didn’t match what the earlier hints had suggested.

Should You Buy Lilith’s Lair?

Despite this, the game offers a literal “F*ck this” button to bypass the minigame. However, skipping the dialogue and waiting for the jester to change, nag at you, perform the minigame animation, perform the cancel minigame animation, and then complain and depart twice per run is still a waste of a minute or two in a game that is already filled with sluggish transition animations. I went back and viewed the remaining content, including the Mastermind thing again. The Mastermind minigame is clearly broken. I was fortunate enough to have a nearly flawless auto-win.

Later, I tried a few online Mastermind solvers, but they kept giving me errors and telling me that I must be entering the results incorrectly. This makes sense because I once had three in the right spots and one in the wrong spot, which is impossible because the game doesn’t allow duplicates. In any case, I haven’t really changed my opinion of the game in general. The game absolutely needs a minigame skip. For example, even with the right-click skip, it’s terrible to have to say no to the jester vampire a hundred times in total over all runs, and it’s like pulling teeth to have to fight the cowbra and rerun the milk trail.
