and already invokes the “one more run” aspect that the best roguelites give you. Controls are good, if not a little weird to get used to, but you will feel at home if you are a THPS player. The levels are fun to play in and do some cool lines, the monsters are varied and will force you to respect them at later levels, and the combination of the Gear and Sticker systems lends to a fun
Skate Your Way Through Vertheim
Traverse Vertheim as you grind, wall ride and manual your way through this hellscape with classic arcade-style skating. interesting experience that will make you work on new builds on-the-fly. At times it feels more like a forced juxtaposition of the genres rather than a smooth fusion but I’m here for it, it’s fun as hell. The game gives you a great variety of upgrades and it can be satisfying as hell (no pun intended) to pull off wacky combos combining the different mechanics/abilities/attacks. TRUE SKATE
It can get a little chaotic (for better or worse) and the game could use balancing out between the genres – for example I usually blow through the enemies very quickly but then there’s still a lot of level objectives left – it’s cool you can stick around and complete them but maybe add more waves of enemies per level but have them do less damage. It would also be cool if level objectives healed a bit of health or there was an upgrade that enabled it.
Fight, Die, Upgrade, Repeat
Combine different weapons, gear and tapes to create powerful and unique builds for each run. Get inked up with sick tattoos to permanently upgrade your abilities for a much needed edge over your foes. The gameplay is fairly simple, if you have played any rogue-like you will feel very much at home, you go through rooms hacking, slashing and of course skating, the general loop is very good and just playing the game is very fun. The level design is really great. SkateBIRD
The art Is very well crafted, the environments are unique and have a really nice stylisation, the texture work really makes the levels feel super interesting and fun. The characters and enemies are all well made and work very well. The animation and VFX are also solid which really makes the game experience smooth and easy to understand. The sound design is mostly very good, the sound queues and general audio fits the gameplay nicely. The music is good in places.

kickflips, and other awesome tricks to power up your attacks and gain unique abilities and buffs to slay the monsters that await you in this fast-paced skateboarding action roguelite! t’s combination between THPS and a roguelite, which there isn’t anything out there I’m aware of currently. But it needs a bit more polished. There was minimal instructions in the beginning regarding what I needed to do and the intro to the character and word is a bit jarring. As someone familiar to THPS, this feels fine, but I can tell others wouldn’t agree

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
