with a symbol or plus sign, but there is a very effective hint system which accurately displayed where you needed to go next in the puzzle arena, or told you that an item needed further investigation by flashing. This comes in handy when you just don’t know where to go next and I used this option quite a lot because there are some obscure areas to find like hidden switches on corners, or in out of way places. It kept the game moving, and let me concentrate on the puzzles.

The modeling is very well done, the boxes have a fun puzzle-box like element of undoing latches and sliding things this way and that. The sound design is also very well done. Lots of deep mechanical thunks and clicks and so forth. will test your resolve and skills to navigate this mysterious and compelling journey. Each level is beautiful, unique, and a true delight to explore and figure out. Although not as long as its predecessor it felt better quality and I enjoyed the story which drove the game play forward. Again, the story was told in brief notes found around the game arena but they made more sense this time and there was even a surprise ending which tied it all together.

There’s even a half decent story behind it all which was one of my criticisms in the first game. Yes, it was still basic, and certainly could be improved upon with a bit of voice acting, cut scenes, and the like, but it was definitely an improvement and a welcome distraction from all the puzzling. enjoyed Boxes: Lost Fragments. There is certainly enough here for all skill levels.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.

2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
