(VN with a single rout and no choices, might as well be a picture book). Neither is it the type that drags on for 20+ hours of tedium challenging you with a decision at a rate of once every 5 hours. Crystalline keeps the player involved with regular decisions to make. While these decisions may not drastically change the plot, they do have immediate and satisfying effects, which should keep you engaged. Despite the large number of choices Crystalline does not have multiple routes. The quest remains largely the same with different endings depending upon the kind of relationships you build with the cast.

With hundreds of choices available, you can experience the storyline and interact with characters in a much more personalized way. Over the course of his quest to return home the protagonist meets and forms a party with four others, of which only one(the blonde one) can be romanced. The music list is including voiced tracks as well as instrumentals without lyrics which correspond to the scenes nicely. During the game, you will come across mini-games that make a bit of various gameplay. The illustrations are astonishing. The plot is simple and has a few twists but more interesting than “just being there” and makes you wonder how will the story end. The music list is not only big just to make numbers but is voiced well and quite suits the game scenes. All characters (except the main protagonist) were voiced, and a huge number of them are visualized Story is long but the gallery is not lacking, so you won’t be seeing much repetition of the same scenes.
Crystalline is a fantasy adventure visual novel created by Pixel Fade. We play as the Hero, who you can name whatever you want, or leave as the default “Pixel Fade”.
Our Hero is an ordinary university student who, while studying late in the library one day, gets transported into the parallel world of Terra. The rest of the game takes place in Terra, where we meet our cast of main characters who form our party and seek a way to get back home. Crystalline is a mostly linear visual novel, with a total of 8 endings, 7 normal endings and a true ending. Like most visual novels, we, as the player, click to progress in the game and make choices to change the ending. Which ending you end up getting is dependent mainly on a handful of key choices. The minigames, which pop up every now and then, require the player to click symbols in a certain order or within a certain time limit to progress with the game. I personally found them an interesting twist on the traditional visual novel format but it could have been better executed as they just feel forced and are not really cohesive with the game. For example, the first minigame, where you help Leanna in a fight, has you matching symbols within a time limit. Though it is a high-stakes fight scene, the minigame makes it feel less exciting and more like a simple card matching game.

She can be quite awkward and shy at times, especially when it comes to romance. HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.

2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit.
