The room is plunged into darkness, impossible to see its limits except a window facing us. Devices from the 80s are arranged on the desk and a monitor provides gameplay instructions on the touchpad: click on an element to observe or interact with it, slide your finger down to bend down, slide up to get up, this information will be recalled throughout the game.
Inspired by Twin Peaks and The X-Files, Dark Days stands as an adventure horror game of its own.
From an eerie motel to a haunted desert, solve puzzles and progress towards a disturbing truth. Dive in an American nightmare, immerse yourself in cinematographic environments, but be careful and think smart! Something is hunting you. There’s only one rule: if you look at it, this nightmare kills. a more classic point-and-click adventure game feeling, while still maintaining the use of 3D visual space and audio afforded by the virtual reality format. Man in the Dark
Since Jade spends so much time narrating throughout the game, it provides a lot of color to every object and interaction, but does unfortunately separate the player from the experience a bit. Typically, first-person games in VR offer an incredible sense of presence, but when the main character’s thoughts constantly echo in your head instead of your own, it can sometimes feel like you’re simply viewing the world through her eyes, rather than truly immersing yourself in the world itself.
An emotional, story heavy supernatural investigation
The story follows Jade, a writer who visits a motel in the middle of nowhere. Strange things start happening right away, so she needs to get out of there. The game is played in first-person perspective, using normal controls. You can move about, interact with hotspots with the left mouse button, crouch, and even run without tiring, which is unusual in these games. Accessible gameplay and randomized puzzles You’re the prey, so be smart or be ready to scream! Park After Dark
The story and audio are the compelling immersive finish to Dark Days. Science behind audio and its effects to mood are prominent throughout each chapter. The voice acting was also well done. Jade conveys her thoughts to the player throughout the game. Her emotion and witty comments created good vibes, but impatient gamers should beware that you have to wait until narration is completely finished to interact with a new item. Under time constraints, it’s a frustrating factor.
Dark Days game has only five episodes that don’t take long.
However, there is a twist. Every time you start an episode, a room randomly places items and clues. There aren’t many possibilities due to the small size of the rooms, but it’s still a nice feature. You can also die because of the game’s entity, which appears unexpectedly inside a room. It begins chasing you just when you look at it, and you can evade it by hiding under a desk or in another hiding place. It doesn’t matter if it notices you hiding; it won’t look for you. Bendy and the Dark Revival
It will go away after a few seconds of standing still. This only happens in some areas, not everywhere. Some details are easy to miss, as a lot of narrative comes from interacting with interest points that players aren’t forced to interact with. Still, the narration composes a detailed emotional rollercoaster as Jade gives her final advice and the player is left with a sincere lesson.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
