And now what we’re left with is a game that is really fun. The combat is super harsh but very fair. It never feels cheap when you get hit. It always feel like your fault. But everything controls great and the enemies are fun to engage with. And that means the ability to do well is at your fingertips.Good game, The camera on the ranged mode needs tweaking. Also, would be good to be able to aim my shots since the auto aim cant target anything that is not running straight towards you. Some of the difficulty needs tweaking, game shouldnt be easier but the progression is too slow and some of the enemy attacks are not predictable so you cant git gud Cornucopia 

This game is so much frikkin fun. VERY hard, but so well done. Takes a bit to get the hang of it (for me at least), but then it’s just hit hit hit dodge dodge hit some more. Really rewarding when you take on like ten baddies at once and come away alive. Really cool mechanic they put in where the baddies can hit each other. If you hit then dodge (or just dodge at the right time) you can basically get them to kill each other. Glorious. A bit of weapon/bow variety would be cool (find new weapons with neat base stats), though I have yet to finish the first level (Gulch is not easy).

I was straight up addicted to Caveblazers for like a year (also a REALLY good game imo ; ) and have been hunting for something kinda like it for SO LONG.Hard but fun game. Requires patience but is still very fast paced. Combat is really engaging and fun. Enemies clearly telegraph their attacks, and if you don’t respect their timing you will get hit. Haven’t seen most of the items and rune combinations yet, but what I’ve seen looks nice. Some bugs with release, but most have been fixed already within a day.
I think it’s a ton of fun. DON’T expect an easy game, or a hacn n slash roguelike.

Expect a tough game all about managing your stamina and dodging enemies. You will die a lot. Luckily I like hard games so I’ll give this a plus. Both Ellen and Keats control exactly the same way and share most of the same dynamics. They can both absorb the souls of defeated enemies and utilize them in combat. The sbo The IDs, as the souls are called, can be equipped to any of the four face buttons on the controller. Each Folk, as the enemies are called, bestows upon the user a single ability, be it magical, offensive or defensive in nature. Learning what each Folk can do is necessary to being successful in this game. Core Keepe
