Synthwave Symphony
The music is incredibly good. Absolutely loved every track. Some reminded more of Blade Runner-y style songs to some that even gave me a Cowboy Bebop flair. All of it, super good. I really love the outrun, cyberpunk-y graphics of the tiles. Even the water and sun are beautiful as a backdrop. I love how you can zoom in and angle the camera so you can get a great look at the cityscape. For those looking for less of a challenge and an even more chill experience. GTA V
There is a creative mode where you have free reign of your city and tiles. You can make some gorgeous views! I was able to play this on my Steam Deck without messing with any settings and it worked great. After an incredibly long session on the same map, I did experience some frame drops at max quality, but dropping the graphics to medium solved any lag. Keep in mind, this was an absurdly long run (9 hours) and I didn’t experience any slower frames till about hour 7 on the same run.
Mesmerizing Cityscapes
The outrun-inspired, cyberpunk visuals of the hexagonal tiles create a mesmerizing cityscape. Even the water and sun serve as picturesque backdrops. The ability to zoom in and adjust camera angles allows players to appreciate the intricate details. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the creative mode grants you artistic freedom. Design your cityscape without constraints, crafting breathtaking views that reflect your imagination. Half Life 2
It’s great to know that HexoCity runs smoothly on your Steam Deck without any manual adjustments. During your marathon 9-hour session on the same map, you encountered some frame drops at maximum graphics quality. However, switching to medium graphics resolved the issue. Remarkably, the slowdowns only surfaced around the 7-hour mark—quite impressive! Each track resonates with a unique vibe, from Blade Runner-esque tunes to hints of Cowboy Bebop nostalgia.

In the heart of HexoCity, where hexagonal tiles interlock like pieces of a cosmic puzzle, players find solace. HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
