Learn Animal Abilities which will powerup through branching upgrade paths making you even stronger by the end of your run! the difficulty customization is surprisingly detailed and open for adjustment. the game itself isn’t that long to complete but there’s definitely replay value in just how much one build can vary from another. it’s clear that the developers were incredibly passionate and detail oriented around this project, and while i’m appreciative of the effort that went into this. i think the price point makes it more of a difficult sell. that being said, because i’m reviewing the game itself and not the price of the game, it’s still a big thumbs up from me. A fun little game where you need to defeat the giant humans while avoiding their attacks. Fairly easy to pick up and get into, with some progression as you go along. Interesting little game, reminds me a lot of Astral Ascent (though quite a bit rougher around the edges). Very movement/reflex focused – could use a few updates
Collectables Galore! – Collect flower seeds, catch bugs, meet fish and befriend the forest animals to unlock Favor.
Use Favor in the shop to unlock new Weapons, Animal Abilities, Infusions, Relics and upgrades so your future runs will have even more variety! This is a fun and interesting Rogue-like that I have been waiting for and it definitely didn’t disappoint on release. You go through multiple levels with fast paced combat and precise timing in order to dodge the different attack patterns coming at you from every side from the enemies. Intuitive and addicting combat system, cute art and witty dialogue, overall a pretty solid single-player experience. The default difficulty setting is pretty challenging for a goober such as myself but I still have fun with it. Highly recommend if you’re into indie rogue-likes. Koboo is a delightful indie game that provides a relaxing and visually stunning experience. I really enjoyed the exploration, and combat aspects. While it may not offer the length of larger titles, its depth, charm, and heart make it a memorable journey worth taking.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.

2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
