It conveys complex themes in a way that’s both impactful and deeply relatable. The puzzles remained consistently challenging yet logical throughout the game, reminiscent of classics like Day of the Tentacle. They encourage creative thinking and provide such satisfying moments of achievement without ever feeling frustrating. The atmosphere and visual style were perfect from start to finish, drawing me further into the world with every scene. A cryptic message written on the bathroom mirror, a mysterious puppet in his bedroom, and some emotional challenges terrify Colin.
This game is a wonderful, bizarre trip down memory lane. It makes me nostalgic for the old point-and-click games of my childhood.
Everything is very well done, from the voice acting, to the genre-typical puzzles, to the music, to the graphics. I also like that the various gameplay bits in between provide a welcome change to the main puzzles. The only thing I can criticize so far is the handling of the inventory. The decision to keep it open only when the mouse hovers over it is, in my opinion, a bit impractical and makes it unnecessarily difficult to use. Or was it all just a bizarre dream? One of the best puzzle games I have played in a while. The artstyle was on point, the music was perfect for every scene, the puzzles while difficult were not impossible to solve, and the story was up there with games like “In Sound Mind”. Overall this game was a joy to play and well worth sitting on a hard chair for five-six hours. It was worth every penny spent on getting it. Classic point snd click. Except the flamethrower puzzle. Whoever responsible for this one should suffer.

The graphics are great, as well as the music and the dialogues. However, the puzzles are sometimes very frustrating because every time you make a mistake, you are thrown out of the puzzle screen and have to do everything all over again. The story is okay! It’s about fighting depression and trauma and finding our real “I” (in this case Collin’s) again, which we manage to do in the end. I’m more of a fan of bad endings, so I found the ending to be rather mediocre, but that’s a matter of taste anyway.
