Highly recommended for anyone who loves fast-paced racing games! Racing against your own ghosts is fun enough, but the computer ghosts can be challenging as you’re learning a track and racing against other ghosts on the leaderboards to get an idea of how to improve your own lines adds another dimension. Feels so satisfying even when you shave only a few hundredths off your time.
The quick restart button combined with the short tracks just makes the experience so fluid.
The dream liquid drum’n’bass soundtrack is perfect for the vibes of this game. Visuals and gameplay will give the feelings of Wipeout, F-Zero and Trackmania. Optimization is spot on, the game feels incredibly smooth. The satisfaction of cutting corners at the exact right angle is amazing and utilizing grass, speedups, drifting and the like for an even faster time makes you feel like you’re constantly getting better. Pushing you forward in the single-player campaign, you have the domain champions. Guayota
Giving you the drive to set ever-faster times, acting as both guides and opponents. As you best each champion, and your spark strengthens, you will unlock new pathways and ships. It’s the Trackmania F-Zero fusion you never knew you wanted – somehow the setting, soundtrack and supersmooth controls make shaving hundreths off your time very relaxing, unlike Trackmania where it somehow is more teeth clenching. Competing against ghost opponents allows you to see the current best time in action
See how you measure up against the best in the world and your friends with online leaderboards.
Forge rivalries and seek to be the best as you master over 30 unique pathways. letting you improve your racing line and find those extra fractions of a second. With instant restarts, you stay in the rhythm, keeping focus as you refine your times on each pathway. Racing Works well on keyboard so far. W to go A & D to turn, S to brake (although if you’re using your brake you probably need a better line). It seems the key is to find the racing path where you don’t have to let off the gas, keeping momentum is paramount. shapez 2
Tracks 30 Tracks to try, 10 in each ” Domain ” The differences between domains are there, but it really feels the same. The challenge of the tracks doesn’t bump up that much between them, just the times required to get tier 4 medal. The mechanics are mostly the same aside from 1 gimmick mechanic that sets them apart. Customization Not a whole lot going on here. You don’t really customize your spark, you just unlock new skins as you progress.
Phantom Spark Over 30 hand-built pathways to race.
Play in Single-Player or Local Split Screen Multiplayer. Race across three Domains, each featuring a unique Champion, visual theme, and pathway mechanics. Dynamic challenges give you constant targets for improvement. A mesmerizing soundtrack that keeps you in the flow. Review your close calls and photo finishes in replay mode. It would have been neat to see at least different color options on top of each skin so you can tweak it to your liking a bit better. Pizza Hero
There’s a bit of narration that goes on each Domain has like a creator or something that’ll talk to you in between races and give you an Ai ghost to try and beat, but they get in the way pretty quick. Too existential for my taste. Also it’s annoying when you beat their ghost, the dialogue changes the commands from Enter to try again and Escape to go the map, to Enter to go to the map and Escape to try again. It seems odd to flip these. Also I know damn well my options are stay here and try again OR go back to the map.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
