There is little replayability involved, aside from meta mechanics where you grind the game to unlock new stuff. has that same unlock meta mechanic, sure, but the real meat of the game is the randomness of each playthrough.The units you ‘draw’ are randomized, meaning you have to adapt your playstyle to the units you get. The minor upgrades and major upgrades are randomized, leading to you having to synergize these upgrades to the units you drew. The maps are procedurally-generated, meaning you have to scout instead of simply memorizing a handful of maps in the pool.

Unit factories, defensive turrets, healing spires or super weapons – every choice shapes your build. Acquire orbital Drops that can shift the tides of battle. While the rogue-lite elements are the most visible, the actual RTS bones of Rogue Command are actually pretty solid. The game leans more toward economy, with plenty of options to just steamroll your enemy through sheer industrial output. This keeps you in the action while allowing you to make the right calls, even when things get overwhelming. FIND YOUR STYLE Shape the game to how you want to play, by unlocking new Engineers, economic Buildings and powerful Specialists to start your next run with. The different combinations will change the foundation of your builds in wildly different ways, allowing you to find your favorite line-up to face the tougher adversaries. You play a 10 round “Run” of random battles with randomized perks and unit pulls with three starting units in your initial unit pool. Rogue Rollout

Your build unit, a resource gatherer, and a specialized unit that will shore up the backbone of your unit pulls. The 10th round is a “Boss” battle that will test your unit composition and will generally have a tough to beat gimmick. At the end of a run, if you win, you level up and potentially get new units to unlock as well as new starter units to mix up your battles. If you’re defeated, you get to try again! Losses will generate experience, but not nearly as much. Roguelike-RTS-Deckbuilder – It’s a really well-executed mix of all three genres. Highly recommended!
