Super fun, stylish, and some pretty effective scares. I’m a sucker for this aesthetic though – can’t get enough of the PS1 retro approach with creature design that’s reminiscent of the classics. Not without some minor graphical/mechanical flaws, but the overall experience was a fast-paced spookfest with intermittent pauses to soak up the environment. Sound work was excellent too, really can’t speak highly enough of it. The game is littered with jump scares to make you scream and draw the monster to you and you must also call your dogs name to pinpoint his location.
Exploring the Depths of a Dialed-In Horror Game
It’s weird though, this game is like a good example of how things I typically don’t enjoy about horror games can be made good with the right structure. I don’t like jump scares or maze-like environments, and I generally don’t like it when a game borrows the plot of a recent successful title, but the overall quality of the game makes up for it. You can tell that the developer put some care into building the atmosphere, and it shows throughout. I think this wasn’t meant to be innovative in any way, but a familiar experience that’s more dialed-in than a lot of games I’ve played recently. That’s always welcome. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam
That being said, this is not your standard survival horror game. It’s a bit more arcadey, and I can see how some reviewers went in expecting a different experience. It’s still a thoroughly enjoyable playthrough, though, and the developer seems responsive and accommodating to different playstyles (no jumpscare mode, etc). I love that you actually have to turn on your brain for this one instead of just following the map or waypoints blindly.
A Game Tailored for All Skill Levels and Preferences in Rotten Flesh – Horror Survival Game
The game offers an abundance of chilling moments that keep players on the edge of their seats. With hints that are direct and to the point, there’s no need to unravel complicated clues, allowing for a smoother gameplay experience. Each step to be taken is clearly outlined, minimizing confusion and ensuring players know exactly what they need to do to progress. For those who may not consider themselves avid gamers or possess extensive gaming skills, this game remains engaging and enjoyable. Instead, it calls upon a different set of abilities—those of courage and nerve. Players must navigate through scenarios, facing their fears head-on to conquer the challenges presented.
Story was pretty simple, you lost your dog and go to sewers to find him but you encounter some cult stuff. There are some documents that tell you what happened here. I wish there were more details to story but I think overall It was ok story. The environment is pretty well designed, there are lots of creepy stuff and random jump scares in the sewers and I was really stressed through my gameplay. Also I don’t understand what was the reason the Cosmic horror used in the game title and description. Risk of Rain 2

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
