A Detailed Insight into Early Access Gameplay of Rustil: Eternal Labyrinth Castle
Forewarning that even though I do recommend the game, it is in early access and saying it’s unpolished is putting it extremely mildly. Controls are a menace (at least until you get kind of used to it though there are times I make accidental inputs) Story doesn’t really exist yet. The animation and movement looks quite odd. Translations and localization gets it’s point across crudely. However the key part of the game, the action roguelike dungeon crawling, is still overall pretty fun. This feels like a nice combination of Diablo’s randomized dungeon crawling with loot as well as Hades combat (Less strategic than souls-like and more action/chaotic)

There are a bit more things to explore outside of what you’d expect from a action roguelike (small perm upgrades overtime, deckbuilding different builds from scratch etc.) such as that monster taming part which allows you to bring in some helpers during your dungeon crawling which are nice twists. My only gripes so far are the effects, which tend to be so flashy that I can’t see what’s actually going on screen sometimes. The other part is probably the control/movement since in some cases lock on is not really recommended (ex large group of enemies) so casting skills require good positioning to be able to land it otherwise it ends up whiffing (No auto aim/aim assist that I’m aware of so far) Lords Of The Fallen Digital Deluxe Edition
