Ameplay is terrible; far too much of this is essentially a visual novel that you can skip right through, but the H scenes are fappable and the art in the scenes is up to Japanese VN standards. It’s basically a lot of pressing one or two buttons before going on to the next ridiculously lengthy sets of speech; nothing particularly noteworthy. Your plot is altered if you lose a battle in a certain location because your hidden identity is out, you are publically raped by acquaintances, and you finally turn into a wicked magical girl and continue along that path. This wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t for the fact that it’s really difficult to determine your position in relation to every other actor on screen during a fight. If you were just one pixel too high or low, you would punch nothing, and then that same opponent would kick you in a second later.

Progression within the game is tied to decision-making and skill development. As players guide Excel through her journey, they unlock new abilities and gear, allowing for varied playstyles.

Consequently, the game’s combat is dreadful, which is unfortunate because it dictates the plot you follow. Again, nothing really noteworthy about the plot; it’s your average magical girl plot, with two ordinary schoolgirls gaining magical abilities, fighting foes, getting raped, and so on. The issue is that, despite the fact that the plot is really conventional and normal, you will spend half of your time simply navigating through speech to get to the next fighting segment. That’s correct, kids—it’s a lose-to-win game, and we all “love” games like that where you have to purposefully lose to enjoy the reason you came here in the first place! Even the few transformation scenes are edited at the crotch to turn the girls into Barbie dolls for some reason, so if you win, you won’t see a single H moment throughout the game. In actuality, they just lost the thread of the proper purpose of a H game. As far as a few static photographs are concerned, however, the H sceneries ARE good. Overall, I wouldn’t suggest this game since it makes too much of an effort to be a generic VN and an arcade game from the 1990s, without making enough of an effort to be a H game that is deserving of the file size.
