The tone of both stories is vastly different from each other, with the first being much darker than the other, but I enjoyed both of them despite feeling a bit lost at times due to not playing the prequel. Another thing I liked is that the character sprites and CGs are beautiful and polished, and the full voice acting adds a lot to the experience. On the downside, the game is a bit short for its price, so wait for a sale before purchasing it.

It’s obvious that the same artist for The Symbiant is back for this game, and the sprites and backgrounds are drawn and colored well. Of course, it goes without saying that the CGs are especially done well. I should note that . As for the music, the tracks are great to listen to. As it has been quite a long while since I last played The Symbiant, I can’t recall whether the tracks are new or are from the first game, but regardless, they’re lovely and they fit well with their respective scenes. Also, the voice actors from the first game are back. It was wonderful to listen to Danya, Brahve, and Juniper, and as there are a couple of new characters, I got to listen to their voices as well. I noticed only one error in regards to the voice acting in which a couple of lines in the Cayama story were switched and the voice lines didn’t correspond. Overall, would I recommend The Symbiant Re:Union? If you like yaoi visual novels and especially enjoyed The Symbiant, this sequel is definitely worth getting.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
