As you play further, you’ll unlock three more playable characters: Franklin, a nebbish ghost; Ransome, a foul-mouthed clown; and Delores, a charming, nerdy video game programmer who’s also the secret star of Thimbleweed Park. (One of her first goals is to get a job at a LucasArts proxy making adventure games.) By the time you’ve gotten past the first act, you’ll be able to switch between all five of these characters.
As the game goes on, these puzzle chains grow increasingly silly and complicated
as do your interactions with the inhabitants of Thimbleweed Park. (My favorite: an intrepid newspaper journalist who really wants to win a Pulitzer.) The puzzles can get difficult but rarely feel unfair, and when you solve them, you’re usually rewarded with something fun, be it a new area, some gorgeous art, or a good joke. even the ones where I did nothing but walk in circles—is this vibe. Thimbleweed Park blends the creepiness of Twin Peaks with the humor of Monkey Island in one stylish, successful package. It all looks spectacular, from the rotting food covering the old abandoned circus to the flickering lights illuminating the disheveled buildings of Thimbleweed. The dialogue is a blast—do yourself a favor and talk to everyone as often as possible—and the music is stellar, alternating between guitar twangs
Thimbleweed Park is a terrific throw-back to old school adventure games.
The graphics are slick retro-chic which manage to capture an era of gaming without coming across as dated, and the game is full of puzzles that are reasonably difficult to solve without being impossibly obtuse. It’s a very funny game, with enjoyable diaglogue, and although many more of the jokes miss than hit for me, the script is so dense that I found myself laughing in spite of myself. HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.

2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit.
