When you die, start again where you were 2 minutes ago, roll a different weapon and try again. Destroy everything in the scenario. Houses, trees, walls, boxes, barrels… well, not the red barrels, those explode. A very cute and fun bullet-hell-ish game! Unlike other bullet-hell games, the threat from melee and projectile-based enemies is about equal. The world-layout of this game makes for a respectable but not frustrating challenge.
Each world has 4-5 stages with a boss at the end, and dying during that world means restarting the world.
This is a bit nicer than many other roguelike games where death simply drops you back to the beginning. The new weapon system is really nice and quite an improvement over the old one, which made it difficult to care about any weapons at all. The new system allows some degree of permanence but also encourages frequent weapons switching. However, it’s quite nice to start a new stage knowing what weapons you have rather than just being thrown into a sea of randomness. Pathless Woods
Epic soundtrack that fits perfectly. The touch of humour in the story, load screens and weapon names. Classic shooter (but more you play more it get good) having to reload makes you play less rushing mode and more strategy by using the environment to get cover, really like this type of gameplay. Graphics : Really good Pixel Art (everything can be destroyed/burned depending on what weapon you use).
Roguelike Pixel Shooter with endless variations of level designs.
Procedurally generated weapons, both melee and ranged. Over a hundred simultaneous enemies on screen, with individual A.I. and strategies. Completely destroyable environments. Local coop multiplayer. Huge tech tree to create and enhance your weapons arsenal. Each world has to be completed in one life, die and you start that world over. But you keep any scrap you have earned, you can spend the scrap on new tech for your random weapons, health, and more. Rotwood
Each round you start with a random combo of gun and melee weapon and you can instruct your robot buddy to craft you other ones in the middle of battle. In addition to that you also unlock and wear various suits that each have diffirent properties and powers. You are like a 13th century Tony Stark. The game also supports local co-op where a buddy controls the robot. The game is challenging, the boss battles are great and even if you managed to beat every world, and unlock every suit.
Unlock different suits, each with their unique abilities and playing styles. More than 15 suits to collect!
Fight up close with the CRUSADERPUNK suit, or demolish enemies and structures with the STONEPUNK suit’s special jetpack Story Mode Conquer cities like G-Nova and Rhomega, each with their own theme and enemies. At the end of every world map, a powerful unique Boss awaits you! Survival Mode Fight against endless hordes of enemies in WOODPUNK’s survival mode and compete for the top positions on the online leaderboard! Sherwood Extreme
Are this game from the creators of Nuclear Throne? That is one of the first things you will probably think about this one. And that’s a good thing. Based in a three-part weapon, each run feels like you own a weapon that you have never tried before. That includes a bomb crossbow, a chainblade or a gun-sized Death Star. Pixel art is simply amazing, and everything is destructible! Just obliterate everyone and everything on the stage and feel like Rambo with a jetpack.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
