“Explore a mysterious abandoned facility situated within an Exclusion Zone where no one, wisely, has set foot for years.
Uncover the history of the place and your role as a reluctant interloper.” And there you are. No idea (at first) exactly where you are, or why. Fortunately, in their rush to vacant, the previous tenants were kind enough to leave various bits of documentation behind to provide agonizingly brief scraps of information concerning the site, the threat, and your goal as “volunteer”. However, there aren’t three of you without reason; that reason being that You. Will. (Whoever these previous occupants were, they did NOT scrimp on hydration or fiber!) But not to worry! The aforementioned resources are just as valuable in your task as they are uncommon and (sometimes) hidden. While I’m enjoying FPTS, it took a little while, and I almost refunded. (And I’m glad I didn’t.) The more I play, the more depth (yes, DEPTH) I discover in this very moody and atmospheric game. But if I may offer a personal thought; I think FPTS might be considered to be a more serious game with a change as simple as the fonts used within the game.
To accomplish your mission, you must open toilet after wretched toilet, some containing nothing, some containing the key you’re looking for
and some containing a giant, hostile spider that will kill you immediately. Each time you fail your mission and enter the Exclusion Zone anew, spiders and items are reshuffled, meaning you must scrounge thoroughly, manage your resources, and continually calculate the odds. No winning through memorization. Scavenged items like old light bulbs, surplus flash grenades, and lucky coins will aid you on your mission, but their numbers are precious few. You must learn how best to weigh your odds and make your own luck if you want to live. Take Me
the “mise en scène” requires a somewhat retro, even “abandoned” typeface to be selected to contribute to the necessary mood, but it seems that at the very least, the title fonts might be a bit more expressive, and specific to a game based on the greatest fear of many people. After all, being presented as the game launches provides an excellent opportunity to say something specific to the game/mood, and the typeface used could do so much more. FULLBRIGHT PRESENTS. In Toilet Spiders, you will die— but eventually you will learn to turn the odds in your favor and become a hero of the people. Note: this game includes an effect that turns the screen white and causes an ear-ringing sound. There is an option in the Options menu to reduce the flash effect and remove the tinnitus ringing sound! But those who are sensitive to sudden bright lights and tinnitus sound effects, please be advised. A silly and scary game about choosing the right toilet. The story is pretty interesting and the atmosphere is well done.

HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF A ANY GAME
1. Check the in-game settings and see if you can change it there. If not, continue down below. You might have to try and use Google Translate to figure out the in-game menus.
– Steam Games –
2a. Look for an .ini file in the game folder or subfolders. Could be called something like steam_emu.ini, steamconfig.ini, etc., but check all the .ini files. There should be a line for language/nickname that you can edit in notepad. If not, look for a “language” or “account_name” text file that you can edit. (If not in the game folder, try C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ SteamEmu Saves\settings). Save and open the game again.
– GOG Games –
2b. Same steps as Steam games except instead of .ini files, look for .info files
If these steps don’t work, then the files for the language you are looking for might not be included. We only check for English here.
